AUTODESK: USER MANUAL FOR PLANET EARTH
The world is constantly being shaped by the things we make.
And in a world where technology makes it possible to make almost anything, the bigger question is: what will we choose to make?
Big things. Tiny things. Bold things. Things that move us. Things that move us forward. Things that become masterpieces, milestones, or even make history.
User Manual for Planet Earth is an invitation to the people designing, engineering, building, and imagining our world to use that possibility with purpose. To make something that matters. And, hopefully, leave this place a little better than we found it.
Because this world we call home is ours for the making. So make what matters.

BEHIND THE SCENES
Our behind the scenes film pulls back the curtain on the craft behind User Manual for Planet Earth, bringing together Autodesk software, human ingenuity, and 35mm filmmaking to show that the campaign itself was made with the same care and intention it celebrates.
INDUSTRY FILMS
A series of films showing how designers, engineers, architects, and animators each make what matters in their own way.
Tailored to Autodesk’s D&M, AECO, and M&E audiences, each :30 takes us inside a different world of making, from designing the objects we use to shaping skylines and creating entirely new worlds on screen.

WRITE THE USER MANUAL FOR PLANET EARTH
Makers were asked to share one idea, insight, or principle for creating the things that matter most. Their answers could be technical, practical, poetic, or surprisingly simple.
Together, those contributions are becoming a collective guide for the future, built around one shared ambition: Leave the planet a little better than you found it.

AU: SPHERE ACTIVATION
To welcome some of the world’s greatest makers to Autodesk University 2026, we took over one of the coolest things ever made: the Las Vegas Sphere.
The film transforms the Sphere into a monument to the process of making, revealing the structure itself as it moves from a software model to constructing its final form.
